Duin in die Weg is an awesome place for camps (up to 230 people) for schools, students, churches, family reunions or any other group camp.

From 2022 we only cater for groups. Accommodation will be available in these categories:

During the year

– Sleeping Halls (big dorms): People can stay in the dormitories and bring their own bedding. We can accommodate up to 96 people in the 4 big and modern dorms. Each hall hosts 24 people (bunkerbeds) – with 3 showers, 3 toilets and baisens per hall.
– Big tents: It will be hard to find anything like the Bush Camp elsewhere. We can provide 4 army tents for about 60 people. People can also bring own tents. The Bush Camp is situated under beautiful camel thorns on a grass surface. There are 3 neat ablution blocks, a lapa, electricity, and water taps also available.

Only during school holidays

The following accommodation can also be provided with the sleeping halls and tents:

– Overnight Rooms: We have 23 rooms ( 2 / 3 people per room) available, that can host 72 people. Each room has its own small bathroom with a shower and is equipped with air-conditioning.

Teachers / Supervisors

They stay in our two luxury chalets. It is private with braai facilities under the camel thorn trees. Other wise they use the overnight rooms.

– Amenities: Towels, soap, mineral water, coffee, tea, sugar and milk.

Costs

– Accommodation: From R135 pppn (own bedding). Supervisors R250 pppn (chalets – bedding incl.). Tents are R85 (own tent) or R110 (our tents).
– Meals: From R65 pp per meal (depends on menu)
– Activity programmes: From R75 per person per day
