As a team, we are really passionate about equipping people with the skills and life experiences they need to succeed in life. The staff is thoroughly trained to comply with our standards and codes of ethics in order to live out the right values.
Programs are fully facilitated by our trained guides who manage the activities. This ensures the safety of all guests, whilst creating a fun and exciting atmosphere for your visit.

Lynette Nel
Lynette was born and raised in Groblershoop. Went to school in Groblershoop and from there to “Hoër” LandbouSkool Jacobsdal. My first job in hospitality was at Keimoes Hotel. In the meantime I work at Interkaap Busdiens and Chicken City in Upington. My kitchen experience started as Matron at Weideman Primary School Boarding House and then Matron at Upington High School Boys Boarding House. On 13 February 2023 I started as Hospitality Manager at Duin in die Weg.

More than 40 years experience in building and maintenance projects.
Responsible for all operational aspects of Duin in die Weg, including buildings, grounds, gardens and sport facilities.

Daniel Venter
Daniel completed his Advanced Diploma in Nature Conservation at NMU – George Campus in 2021. He also did his practical year as intern here at Duin in die Weg in 2020. He manages and facilitates our Outdoor programmes (camps & activities) and facilities – as well as the planning of new events and projects.

Elske Maass
Elske is responsible for the administrative support around our guests and groups (inquiries & bookings), as well as functions, staff matters, finances, facilities and the office affairs in general. She is also assisting with marketing – especially when it comes to our social media.
